Apartment Update
Things are finally starting to get in motion! On Monday, the girls and I are looking at two apartments in Albany. One in Colonie, 5 minutes away from SUNY Albany and one on Lark Street right where Lark meets Central Ave. We have a really good feeling about the Colonie one, it looks really nice, there are three other girls who live in the other apt. in the building and we get along great with the landlord. So I can’t wait till Monday!
Another thing I have to worry about is finding a job! I’ve been calling places all day, all I get is “fill out our application online!” so I’ve been doing that. And I’ve sent my resumes out to libraries and even got an offer in the New Scotland branch. I’m just trying to see what my other options are because you have to take a civil service exam for that job and IF I do well on the exam, then I have the job. I don’t want to bet on that job and then bomb the exam…so yeah, it’s quite nerve wracking but exciting at the same time.
